MDP operates under the supervision of the Central Bank of Timor-Leste (BCTL) and is fully committed to complying with the regulatory rules applicable to its activity. Client protection is a central pillar of our activity.

Anti-money-laundering (AML/CFT)
MDP applies rigorous procedures to prevent money laundering and the financing of terrorism, in line with Timorese regulation and international best practice. Procedures include client identification and verification (KYC), client risk assessment, continuous transaction monitoring and the reporting of suspicious transactions to the competent authorities.
Data protection
MDP processes its clients' personal data in strict accordance with the rules applicable in Timor-Leste. Data is used only for authorised purposes, protected by appropriate technical and organisational measures and kept for the periods legally required.
Complaints
If you wish to submit a complaint, you may do so through MDP's official channels: in person at our premises, by post, by e-mail to reclamacoes@mdp.tl, or via the form on our website. All complaints are handled with rigour and answered within the period established by law.
